To perform a massage for hard breast implants, typically due to capsular contracture, gently massage the breasts to help soften the scar tissue. Place your fingers around the outer edges of the implant, and with light to moderate pressure, slowly and gently move the breast in a circular motion. You can also apply a back-and-forth motion, using your whole hand to knead the area. Perform these massages two to three times daily, as recommended by your surgeon, for several minutes. Always follow your surgeon’s guidelines and avoid excessive pressure to prevent injury.
