The actor officially revealed the release date — 25 July 2025 — via his Instagram handle, along with the film’s first poster. In his post, Devgn wrote: “The return of the Sardaar! #SOS2 coming to your nearest theatres on July 25. #SardaarIsBack #SonOfSardaar2” The poster features Ajay in his signature look from the original — turban-clad, mustached, and full of swagger — promising a nostalgic ride with a fresh twist. Comedy Comeback for Devgn After years of intense roles in films like Bholaa, Maidaan, Shaitaan, and the upcoming Singham Again, Ajay Devgn is returning to comedy with Son of Sardaar 2. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the sequel features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead and is produced by Ajay Devgn himself along with Jyoti Deshpande, N.R. Pachisia, Pravin Talreja, and Fox Star Studios.
