Saint Martin Island is situated about 9 kilometers south of the Cox’s Bazar–Teknaf peninsula and very close to the Myanmar maritime border. Administratively, it falls under Teknaf Upazila in Cox’s Bazar district. Despite its small size—only about 8 square kilometers—St Martin Island Bangladesh holds immense ecological, cultural, and tourism value.
