SPAC Transfer Agents are responsible for the escrow accounts used in SPAC transactions. Escrow accounts contain large amounts of money from multiple investors that will be held until the SPAC acquires an operating company. Additionally, Transfer Agents increase overall transparency, decrease risk of financial fraud, and support a smooth transition from the SPAC to the newly acquired or merged company or to the shareholders of a former SPAC entity.
