Bhopal. The UP police is taking gangster Atiq Ahmed, accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, to Prayagraj from Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat. The convoy also stopped at Shivpuri in MP, from here it again left for Jhansi. The police will cover a distance of 1300 kms in about 22-24 hours. He is being taken to Prayagraj in UP in a convoy of 6 vehicles, including 2 Vajra vehicles. Atiq, accused in Umesh Pal’s kidnapping case, is to appear in the court on Tuesday.
