The IAF has made available the AFCAT Syllabus 2022 and Exam Pattern in order to hire qualified applicants for the positions of Flying Branch-Short Service Commission (SSC), Ground Duty – Permanent Commission, and Short Service Commission (PC & SSC). To evaluate a candidate’s conceptual knowledge and intelligence, the AFCAT test is given twice a year. To be eligible to take the exam, candidates must thoroughly read the AFCAT Syllabus 2022. There are two sections of the written test: the written AFCAT exam Writing portion of the AFCAT EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) The two-hour AFCAT written exam measures an applicant’s fundamental aptitude in areas including English, general awareness, and numerical ability. The test will ask the most questions and also evaluate the candidate’s military aptitude (100 in total).
