Understanding how to install tpo roofing on plywood starts with preparing a clean, dry, stable substrate that meets the roofing system manufacturer’s requirements. Check the plywood for damage, secure loose panels, and ensure the surface is suitable before installation. Appropriate insulation and cover boards may be necessary depending on the roof design. TPO membranes must be positioned, fastened, and heat-welded according to manufacturer specifications. For commercial and industrial projects, professional installation helps ensure proper seam integrity, effective waterproofing, and dependable long-term roof performance.
