Our two daughters were sharing a room with two single beds side by side and the room felt permanently cramped. The single bunk bed from DHS stacked both sleeping spaces vertically, returned half the floor space to the room, and the children took to it immediately. The solid pine construction is genuinely solid, the safety rail on the top bunk is properly positioned, and the ladder is easy for a child of six to climb without help. The room is unrecognisable compared to the layout we had before.
