What Triggers Breast Implant Capsular Contracture?
In this video, we discuss a recent case of capsular contracture affecting both breast implants and the possible factors behind it. Patient Story: The patient had a breast lift in January 2022 and breast implants in March 2023. By mid-September, her right breast became firm, appeared higher, and had a split suture. She also experienced two notable events beforehand: her granddaughter accidentally kneed her right breast in August, and she had a dental cleaning with bleeding gums in early September. Soon after, the right breast became firm, and the left breast also began to harden slightly.
