The automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is an electric system that maintains steady voltage level of electrical equipment at the same load. The AVR controls voltage fluctuations to provide a steady, stable power supply. The voltage can be tapped, spiked or increased and electrical equipment can be destroyed without an automatic voltage regulator.
